- I personally select and handpick every butterfly from a butterfly sanctuary/farm from Australlia. I purchase the butterflies after they die naturally ( average butterfly only lives 3 weeks). The sanctuary/farm is part of a conservation program to save virgin acres of rainforest and butterfly populations?

Each butterfly or moth is carefully preserved in layers of jewelry grade resin. Allowing the butterfly to look as natural as possible without being fragile, despite their fragile appearance.
